This is the 2nd part to a piece I did earlier titled my path. Each one tells a story and each one works with the same balance of colors and use of my palette knife.
Before I worked on this piece my view on painting and visual arts was limited mostly because I had stopped at post-impressionism and fauvism. I did that because those movements were the two that I could identify my style with the most but when I left California I met a new group of people with a new set of ideas that greatly inspired me to tap further into my creativity. The result of these people was The Dance.

Artistic Influences
I am a fan of many styles and techniques but of late the New York crew of the eighties has been holding my eye. Guys like Keith Harring, Julian Schnabel, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
